Where are your people based?

All over — we work with talent across 21 countries in Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. We don't lead with geography, though. We lead with the right person for your work who happens to have a timezone you can collaborate in.

Isn't this just about hiring cheaper?

No, and we'll be straight about it: if your only goal is the lowest possible rate, we're probably not your firm. Our pitch is that great people are distributed all over the world, and most US companies only ever look in a handful of expensive cities. We help you hire excellent people you couldn't easily find at home. Often that costs less. That's a nice side effect, not the point.

How do you vet people?

Every candidate goes through a technical screen, a work sample or live problem in their actual discipline, and reference checks with people who've worked with them. Most applicants never reach you. We'd rather send you three strong people than twenty maybes.

How fast can someone start?

For staff augmentation, usually two to three weeks from the kickoff call to a first day. Dedicated teams and specialized roles take a little longer to assemble well. We won't rush the vetting to hit a date — that's how you end up with the wrong person fast.

What if it doesn't work out?

The first two weeks of any placement are a risk-free trial — if it's not clicking, you don't pay for that person and we find someone else. After that, every engagement is month-to-month. We keep your business by being worth keeping.

Who handles contracts and payments across borders?

We do. Contracts, international payments, and compliance are on us. You get one simple invoice and never have to think about how someone in another country gets paid correctly and on time.

Do you only place engineers?

No. We place engineers, but also designers, DevOps and infrastructure people, data and ML folks, QA, product managers, and operations. The 'keyboard goblins' are anyone diligent and sharp who does great work on a computer.

How big do clients have to be?

Most of our clients are seed to Series B startups, but we work with bootstrapped teams and larger companies too. If you have real work and you'll treat people well, size isn't the deciding factor.
